Most people probably don’t know what the lymphatic system is and what it does for the body. It is part of the circulatory system, consisting of a network of lymphatic vessels that carry a clear fluid called lymph back to the blood. Unlike blood, which flows throughout the body in a continuous loop, lymph flows in only one direction – towards the heart returning the lymph into the blood.

The massage works at a skin level manipulating the lymphatic structures located in the subcutaneous tissues to influence the direction and speed of lymphatic flow.
